how to apply for financial aid

STEP 1:

Go to sssbynais.force.com/familyportal to submit your Parent Financial Statement (PFS) online. Please note May Center’s SS code is 185145.

STEP 2:

On the PFS, indicate that May Center for Learning should receive your family’s information, such as annual income and expense, assets, and investments.

STEP 3:

Send a scan of your 2023 federal tax return to admissions@maycenter.org or send a paper copy to the Admissions Office by the deadline.

We are aware that this will require applicants to file taxes well before the tax deadline. If extenuating circumstances make this impossible, please contact the Admissions Office.

STEP 4:

You will receive a notification of your financial aid status as soon as the committee reviews your completed application.

Please note that admissions applications must be completed before the financial aid committee can consider your financial aid application. The Financial Aid Committee reviews completed applications on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The May Center for Learning Financial Aid Committee reserves the exclusive right to reach determinations regarding financial aid eligibility and awards. Financial aid applicants are not guaranteed a financial aid award on the basis of their application. Financial aid awards are offered on the basis of need demonstrated via financial aid applications submitted before the deadline to apply for financial aid. Applications completed after the deadline will be considered for eligibility and award only after the May Center for Learning Financial Aid Committee has completed processing complete applications submitted before the deadline.
